Comfortable stay in a charming hotel in Paris 8

Comfortable stay in a charming hotel in Paris 8
The majestic hallways set the tone, reminding the warmth and personality displayed more than a century ago in the collectors’ mansions of this very same neighborhood. Upholstery by Les Olivades, collection wallpaper with a ‘Baie de Naples’ frieze by Nobilis, pure wool carpeting ‘feuille de choux’ by Flipo, one of the oldest Parisian Maison. This ‘Made in France’ decorative arrangement is completed with lighting by a craftsman from Boulogne-sur-Seine and with convex mirrors, called ‘Witch’s eye’ in French, staged by two Parisian artists.

The rooms’ numbers are embedded on the door steps; a discretion that adds to the private home’s feeling that the Relais Monceau offers. Chinese porcelain plates hung on the rooms’ walls, keep echoing Victor Hugo’s trend of the Chinoiserie.

There are 16 rooms per floor, ten of which look over the Rue du Rocher and six onto the small inner gardens.

On the ground floor, we have two rooms with disabled access and a triple room which looks onto a small inner garden. Whichever room you choose, you will be in the very center of the Haussmannian 8th district of Paris.

”Fantastic Location and Thoroughly Excellent Service”

”I stayed here with a friend who was visiting from Australia. The staff could not have been more helpful and the room was really comfortable. The hotel is in a fantastic location and we could walk almost anywhere we wanted to go in less than 30 minutes.”
